How can a single douche bag stop millions of people from receiving earned benefits in a job-starved recession you ask? Emergency measures, such as this much needed one, needs unanimous consent to pass. So thanks to Senator ass-wipe, and as a result of the Senate's inaction, many jobless people starting Monday were no longer able to apply for federal unemployment benefits or the COBRA health insurance subsidy. His own senate colleagues have pleaded with him on the senate floor to drop his objections to receive a heart-felt response from Sen. Bunning of "Tough Sh*t". Read more »

WTF is going on with Japanese Automakers? Footpedal and brake problems have been plaguing the once reliable automakers cars such as the camry and the prius. Toyota has expanded its largest recall ever to 8.1 million cars since September for problems with slipping floormats and sticking accelerator pedals that have been linked to crashes that killed at least 19 people. Honda is also having a mass recall over its airbags. Toyota announced that the sticking pedal can quickly be controlled by pressing the brake. The Brake? That's it? The car doesn't move forward out of control and there nothing you can do? All I have to do is press the brake? How does this cause 19 deaths? I'll tell you how... shi**y drivers! $9.99 e-books will soon be a thing of the past. Rupert Murdoch, CEO of News Corp, has imposed his will on the largest online retailer, Amazon.com. Ol' Rupert feels that money is being lost by selling electronic books so cheaply at $9.99. Expect all e-books to now cost $14.99 and up. Apparently he feels that the low price devalues books and it hurts all the retailers of the hard cover books. Expect this to stall sales on e-readers like the new iPad and Amazon Kindle as it gives even more reason to skip the new costly gadget. Also, don't be surprised if e-book piracy increases as more readers get discouraged by the price hike. I dunno Rupert, you may be killing the market before it even gets going.
