Lone Republican senator Jim Bunning of Kentucky is single handedly blocking a million-plus Americans from receiving unemployment and COBRA benefits. How can a single douche bag stop millions of people from receiving earned benefits in a job-starved recession you ask? Emergency measures, such as this much needed one,  needs unanimous consent to pass. So thanks to Senator ass-wipe, and as a result of the Senate's inaction, many jobless people starting Monday were no longer able to apply for federal unemployment benefits or the COBRA health insurance subsidy. His own senate colleagues have pleaded with him on the senate floor to drop his objections to receive a heart-felt response from Sen. Bunning of "Tough Sh*t".
